OLIW87 started painting graffiti at the age of 12, developing a bold and raw visual language that continued to define his work. In 2015, after becoming a father, he began painting on canvas and created his first “Chanel or Die” piece, which he pasted on a wall in one of Stockholm’s upscale neighborhoods. That piece sparked a series that gained international attention and eventually landed in the hands of collectors worldwide. In 2021, Madonna purchased three of his original paintings, one of which appeared in the international press. While that moment could have changed everything, he kept painting and building something authentic. His work often carried a socially critical tone, sometimes direct, sometimes subtle, but always impactful. Rooted in graffiti, shaped by pop culture, and driven by a need to speak in an already noisy world, OLIW87 continued to create art that challenged, resonated, and stayed true to his voice
