Collection: Ronny Hård

Ronny Hård, born in 1950 in Dalarna and now active in Skåne, is known for his dreamy, optimistic landscapes that evoke mystery and romance. His paintings feature muted colors, yet they convey a deep longing for beauty through nuanced shades. His series, "Time Fragments," draws from Rembrandt's philosophy of light, transitioning from warm to cold tones and creating intriguing contrasts. Hård emphasizes depth, taking viewers through varying dimensions of landscape, alternating between darkness and light, which creates rhythm and movement in his work.

Hård has received several prestigious scholarships, including from Malmö Museum, Statens Bildkonstnärsfond, and the Malmö Konsthall. The 2001 Malmö Konsthall scholarship praised his independent artistry, intellectual strength, and his ability to explore existential themes of life, light, darkness, hope, and despair.
